This was a very interesting course I took in my fourth semester at SCSU. I got very used to using my camera, and I was surprised to learn just how much you have control you have over the photo during the development process. You can change the contrast, make parts of the photo darker or lighter, and enlarge.

	Hilton C. Buley Library [January 2003] My first enlargement of a photograph. It came out a little out of focus.
	Pensive Man [January 2003] This is a photo of my plaster sculpture Pensive Man which I created in 3-D Design.
	Pico [January 2003] The last picture taken of the family parakeet Pico. He was the most friendly bird that we ever had.
	Wondrous Hands [February 2003] This was my primary print for the photography theme Wondrous Hands assigned by my professor.
	Homework [February 2003] A picture from the Hands theme. Interestingly, I went to my local library and found a young man doing what looked like calculus homework. He permitted me to photograph his hand. Later I saw him on the SCSU campus—he was a student at the same college I'm going to.

	Two Spanish Knights [February 2003] This is a photograph of some little sheetmetal sculptures of the same title. The pair (obviously Don Quixote de la Manca and his squire Sancho) stand in the ground floor of the Hilton C. Buley Library on campus. I did not get the name of the artist.
	Para Leer [March 2003] This was my first print for the theme Picture Perfect. Para Leer is Spanish for "in order to read."
	Mantle Bookshelf [March 2003] My best print for Picture Perfect.
	Guardian of the Cold [March 2003] Another photo from Picture Perfect, this was taken from a little gatehouse at a Tudor-style manor fifteen minutes from the college.
	Gate of Hospitality [March 2003] This is the primary-driveway gate at that manor. It took some patience getting the snow to appear.
	Gate Hinge [March 2003] Close-up of the hinge of the gate.
	American Gate [March 2003] Yet another gate of the manor wall.
	Nathan [March 2003] My friend Nathan caught with a split-second expression on his face.
	Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall [April 2003] This was my solution to the theme Mirror, mirror on the wall.
	Firemen [April 2003] The men from Engine 15 in New Haven came to SCSU one warm day in April because of a false alarm. According to their request, I gave them a copy of this photo.
	Ansonia YMCA [April 2003] The Y next to my home town.
	Mr. Perry [April 2003] This is Tom Perry, a WWII veteran in my church.
	Jessica & Jana [April 2003] I found this scene at a get-together my church had in April.
	Robin Road [April 2003] This was down the road from the house with the lion heads and gates.
	The Railroad [April 2003] The railroad tracks in downtown Seymour, Connecticut.
	Dandelions [April 2003] The first dandelions I saw in the Spring of 2003.
