Having been in development for six years, the Scythe became the most formidable craft ArTech had produced. Not having Continual Absorbtion Shielding like the Advanced fighters, the turret guns added an extra measure of protection, also enabling the craft to be able to engage several targets at once with lasers. The two banks of ion engines also made the Scythe the fastest ship in the ArTron force.
