Rubber Band Gun

Now to springload the mechanical parts of the gun:

• Hook one rubber band in the back of the hammer, bring it under the spindle for the sprocket and hook it over the yellow connector sticking up from the top of the gun. Click to see illustration.

• Hook another rubber band in the crook of the white rod and tan piece on the front of the trigger, and bring it up to rest in the forward-facing "socket" of the red connector at the tip of the gun. Click to see illustration.

The ammunition:

• Stretch a rubber band from one of the teeth of the sprocket to the red piece on the tip of the gun. Click to see illustration.

To shoot:

• Cock the gun by pulling the hammer back, then pull the trigger!
